Whale Shark Volunteers aims to create a network of local people focused on disseminating information about the species and its vulnerable situation, so that the inhabitants of La Paz become actively involved in its protection. Through this community effort, residents can learn, share, and promote actions that contribute to the conservation of whale sharks and their habitat.
We open our call for applications at the beginning of each whale shark season, with limited spots available. Stay tuned during the first week of October to register. Priority is given to students and local residents.
